A New Word for A New Initiative

Here is a concept for ministry outreach so new and unique that we had to invent a
    new word for it!  "Shareabration" is celebrating God's love through sharing our
    surplus clothing, toys, housewares, and other items through a giant free shopping
    spree for the needy. Shareabration gives anything available for free to the needy,
    and by donation to those who can afford it, with proceeds being used to help the needy.

           As we reach out in love by sharing material things, we will create and opportunity
    to reach out and share the spiritual truths of God.

            Shareabration is a "win" "win" "win" for all participants:

            Churches will be blessed by reaching out to others in a tangible way.

            Donors will be blessed for their compassion and generosity to others

            Workers will be blessed by becoming not just a hearer but a doer of the Word

            The Needy will be blessed by seeing the Lord's providential provision.

           Those Who Say the Church Only wants their money will be silenced!

            This initiative was launched with good success by Our Savior Lutheran Church
in St. Petersburg Florida.  It is our prayer that churches throughout the country will
use this initiative to reach out and use Shareabrating as God's provision for helping
those in  need in their community. Watch Video!  The members at Our Savior were so
pleased with this effort, they are already making plans to repeat it.

            You "Shareabration" can be as big or as little as you care to make it.  You can
produce shareabrating for less than $100.00 or spend up to $1,000.  A lot depends upon
the size of your church, and how much ministry and PR for your church and the Lord you
would like to generate.
           

            The sad fact is that God doesn't get on the newspapers except when there is a
scandal for some failure that embarasses Christ's Church and God's good name. 
"Shareabration" provides and opportunity to get advertising and PR that money can't buy
if you cultivate and pique the interest of the newspaper, radio, and TV media.

            "Shareabrating" can welcome others beside's the needy to shop and make make
purchases with the money used to offset expenses or go into the charity fund.
